Workshops

Keep India Beautiful has been organising workshops on “Waste Segregation & Management” in different schools, Universities, Government Departments and Corporate Sector. In these Workshops participants learn about Reduce, Refuse, Reuse and Recycle through fun activities conducted by experts in the field. It is expected that participants would transfer this knowledge gained through this programme/project into positive environmental action in their own schools, families and communities resulting in a better environment for their surroundings. More than 50 of such workshops have been conducted in the last three years with participation of more than 10,000 participants who in turn have carried this torch of knowledge to spread this manifolds. We also provide different coloured dustbins free of cost to schools/institutes as part of this project and also takes the responsibility for first three months to ensure that Wet Waste collected in School reaches indifferent Ecology Parks for conversion into Manure through Vermicomposting. Recyclers/ e-waste handlers would collect other types of waste and only a minimal amount of waste amounting to 10% to 15 % of total generated waste would go to landfill as hazardous/rejected waste.

Notable Workshops: Schools like Appejay, DPS, Cambridge, Manav Rachna, and those run by NGOs in slums. Universities like D.U. and Jindal Univ. in Haryana. Government departments like NDMC, GST, and ESIC. Corporate Sectors like LG, Tech Mahindra, etc. to name a few
