Keep India Beautiful organized another cleanliness drive in Sectors 92 and 93, Noida, in collaboration with the local RWAs on August 14, 2016. The theme of the drive was community participation, and members from various RWAs took part. Equipped with biodegradable garbage backpacks and gloves, they cleaned their surroundings.
Keep India Beautiful also hosted a “Walking Discussion” for residents to plan the beautification and maintenance of their area, along with a plantation drive. The event received a tremendous response from people of all walks of life. It was free of charge, and Keep India Beautiful provided aprons, recyclable garbage bags, gloves, saplings for planting, and medals for the participating children. The garbage bags were saved for reuse.
